Professor George Simon is Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and a Professor in the Department of Materials Engineering at Monash University. His research interests include modifying microscopic nanoparticles to make plastics and in their incorporation into polymers to make nanocomposites. At BAMI, George is working alongside Dr Warren Batchelor and under Chief Investigator Prof. Gil Garnier on Project 1: Cellulosic fibre non-woven materials for high performance applications.
