Research topic: CFD modeling of biomass gasification in a fluidised bed reactor
Mahmud Kibria completed his Batchelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh in 2007. Until 2012 he worked for the Bangladesh Oil, Gas & Mineral Corporation as an assistant engineer. Mahmud completed his Master of Science at the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2014. In 2015, Mahmud commenced his PhD in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Monash University, under the supervision of Prof. Sankar Bhattacharya. He is working on BAMI Project 9 – Biomass gasification and modelling for energy and chemicals.
