Research topic: Synthesis biopolymers starting from deconstructed lignin
Lionel Longe has a Masters degree in Chemistry, specialising in polymers, from the Graduate School of Biology, Chemistry & Physics of Bordeaux, France. He also has a Masters degree in Chemistry, specialising in the chemistry and physical chemistry of materials, from the University of Bordeaux. At BAMI, Lionel is working on Project 10 – Chemicals from lignin – under the supervision of Chief Investigator Dr Kei Saito.
